Wow, I’m just seeing this now ...

Your Greyhound MCI pictured on the TF-2 Highway looks even better than the real bus in the picture above. I am very impressed!!! You asked me “close enough?” You nailed it!

Just for proper identification on her when uploaded, she’s actually an MCI-12 Coach. The MC-9 came out in 1979, and the MC-12 in 1991. There is hardly any difference in appearance between the two. Even I thought the picture you first shown me was a “MC-9.” The only real noticeable difference is at the rear with the rectangular cluster of turn signals, brake and back up lights.

Danny this Bus mod is perfect, and she will be an excellent USA cross-country bus when she’s ready to roll out of the factory line. No need to improve on this one other than any of your finishing touches.

Thank you sir, and although it’s getting late here where I am, Arizona, USA I am so glad I took another look at your DMA site. God Bless and thank you Sir!

ps: Even your work in progress, the 1st two pictures of her not painted yet amazed me sir. The picture of her tail end show’s that rectangular cluster of lights making her a “12”. The “9’s” lights were vertical there.

Great job Danny!

Good morning,
Danny when you do “come up for air” from your modeling work be sure to include that PayPal donation tab. No, I don’t have a lot of extra money to throw about but some things really do mean a lot and are well worth it, right?

You mentioned that there may be another bus, like the Scenicruiser and that “we’ll see.” On that Scenicruiser bus hold off. I spoke (texted) with Mr. hugedragonyk and he told me that Seamon “is preparing to port over to TF2 his Public Transportation bus series.” So we’ll see again.

Thank you for showing me your progress on the Greyhound MC-12 Danny. I was very surprised, and delighted!

Take care and keep in touch,
Bob Paulsen

Stunning model Danny. Love seeing the passengers inside. All your DMA bus mods are supreme. I would be very content with your bus mods just as they all are if I weren’t such a BIG GREYHOUND bus fan. Maybe we can decide together on another Bus to put with this one to release for TF-2 as a package.

Love you Danny for taking a interest and helping my future TF-2 game play all the better Sir. And remember this please, “What Goes Around Comes Around”.

Thank you again, your pal in AZ. Bob Paulsen

Just noticed that neat little logo up in front above the front wheels, says Colorado something, a bit small to make out clearly. Make this a great day Danny. Bob

Very nice touch Danny, and approved. Are you in Colorado?

You know me Danny ... I always have another Bus in mind, but before I ask any thing else I would feel better making that PayPal donation as a show of gratitude and much appreciation.

Take gentle care Sir, and thank you
Bob

Hi Danny, over by Italy, it’s a big world. I am just trying this out now, I believe I found out how to attach a photo so here goes. This bus is the same model as the Greyhound bus you are modding. It’s a Trailways bus, MCI-12. Image

That’s a lot of numbers to put in, wow. Let me know if it works, and thank you

No, there is no image... in "img" tag you have to put full url of image or post image as attachment.

Danny, Oh my gosh, WOW even. These are unbelievable!!!

And Carolina Trailways as well! I was quietly hoping/praying you would pick up on my hint that Trailways also uses the MCI's on their routes. I have been truly concerned because i never want to push my luck and ask for to much, but so so good to see we're on the very same page, thank you so much and God bless you too! Looking very closely I see that the city Destination sign up front can also change, wow, again ... I see Phoenix and Tucson for sure, and Headlights are ON!

And yes thank you for taking a look and adding the USA flag logo. The flag logo is placed just right but with one minor exception. On the passenger door side can the logo be flopped so the flag is facing forward same as on the drivers side? Such a small detail I know, if can be corrected easily it should be to be right.

Danny I love them all, even your Screenshots of the Arizona desert setting is fabulous. I am truly "dumb founded" and in "awe" of your fine work. A simple thank you really isn't enough!

With much gratitude and true appreciation, your new pal in Arizona Bob

ps: so so glad to help with that donation Danny, and more to come
when your time allows for another bus project (let me know when Sir)

I wasn’t sure about the flag. I found pictures where the flag was turned and pictures where it was like this. OK. I'll turn it around ... Thanks for info...

And one question from me... is this correct:

Ahh Danny you are so understanding and thank you for that.

Yes, just on the door side the Flag should be flopped to face forward. Terrible aren’t I?

You are correct on the rear light cluster.

Top left is Brake light and should be off
Bottom left is Running Light and Left turn signal light, Running light is always on when Headlights are on.
Top Right (yellow bulb) Emergency Flasher
Bottom Right (clear bulb) is Backup light

Just for info I am a retired Coach driver and trained by Greyhound Lines in RENO, NV. for their San Francisco division, plus charter bus driver so I am very familiar with the MCI busses.

Thank you Danny, I will make things right for you

Danny what can I say, that’s so marvelous, Trailways bus also fixed I’m sure.

No idle words, it will mean so much to have these Coaches operating on the USA Highways in TF2. The base game never had any real Cross Country busses at all, just the Twin Coach and Fishbowl from the USA, which are not for long distance, just local city transit, that’s until your fabulous DMA mod pack that is. Now i and the other gamers here in the US will finally have the “real deal”. Thank you a million times over!

Now I am even wondering if my small donation is even adequate enough to show my appreciation Sir. Let me know what I can do to repay your kindness in full Danny.

Most sincerely Bob
