The MAN Lion's Coach is a coach model part of the Lion's Family of buses introduced by MAN Nutzfahrzeuge with the first generation model launched in 1996 at which time it was already being manufactured in Turkey by the MAN subsidiary MAN AS. It was originally intended as a low-cost alternative to the MAN Lion’s Star developed into the epitome of MAN coaches, as a cheaper sub-model to its more luxurious top-model, the MAN Lion‘s Star.

Hi Danny and crew, yes sir your Intercity Buses are fabulous, and also your mod for all vehicles available from 1950. Thank you for them. I am really getting into the new TF2, and it’s way superior than the original for me. In fact I purchased a new “gaming laptop” for TF2. Love the Map Editor feature.

I can only hope that one of the games mod makers would consider making some versions of USA Intercity Buses. Yes there’s tons of Buses in the game now, but if you look you’ll see that at least 90% of these are European, Asian etc. etc and very ... repeat very few for the USA.

This is just a little bit of a sore spot for me, one of the modders made a fantastic Greyhound Scenicruiser bus with all the fine details but it’s only for TF, not for the new TF2 edition. Yes I asked that modder if he could update his model and he said maybe be the end of the new year. I guess I should be happy with that?

I really don’t know who to ask for any help with this, so just airing my thoughts a bit. Any thoughts, suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

What you think about Marcopolo serie...? Marcopolo III or Marcopolo Paradiso 1550...

Hi Danny and thank you for responding, much appreciated. Yes, the Marcopolo series are fine, but they are an offshoot and made by MCI in Mexico, Motorcoach Industries and not common here in the US as Interstate (cross-country) carriers.

I am thinking more on the lines of MCI itself, like the MC-8 or MC-9 coaches that were the mainline bus for Greyhound here in America. Ideally the GM buses from the ‘40s through 70s would be a super addition since TF-2 goes back through different time eras.

The GM Silversides were active thru those dates, the Scenicruiser from the mid 50s. Those in particular are what I am thinking of, maybe an MCI-8 or 9 to be a little more up to date.

Anywho, a fella can hope, right. I do wish I could send you the detailed illustration of the Silversides for your possible consideration.

Yes Danny, this would be an excellent choice. This bus is an MCI-9, and they ran across the US from the like mid the ‘70s through 2005 or so. This would be a great one Sir. I wish I could attach that line drawing of the Silversides bus, don’t see the attach tab.

Hi again Danny, thank you for being so patient and understanding of me. I would send you the Silversides bus line drawing which is perfect and shows all four sides in great detail if I knew how. I’ve been clicking on the different icons here and and did find the img. one but dummy me I can’t attach the photo. Not familiar with this new set-up.

Is there another way I can send the picture to you? I feel very stupid.

This is where Seamon got his Scenicruiser images for making his mod. I am a real ‘bus nut’ and I can get lost looking through this web site, it’s amazing Danny!

The Silversides bus, PD-3751 is here, along with many others
I also like the MCI-MC-7, ACF Brill IC-41.

Danny I hope this site will help you with any future bus mods you might do. If you look through all these fine illustrations it may give you many ideas, I hope so.

Hi Danny, I know you must already hate me, I am being such a pest. And seeing things from your standpoint I can’t blame you one bit, haha. But since I have found this fabulous bus illustrations website I feel like “A kid in the Candy Store”, and I just turned 73.

Only if you can find the time, please take a look at the websites second page. Go down to the bottom of the first page and click on “Postagens mais antigas”. On my iPad the very next bus illustrated is the “Trailways Flxible High-Level”. Wow, what a beauty she is and Danny I remember seeing these as a kid going thru Long Beach, Ca. to San Diego. Of course they were everywhere in the US also.

What a wonderful bus this would make for TF-2. Talk about a variety and change of pace. A beautiful 35-foot, 39 passenger Coach!

OK, here’s my promise to you Sir, I promise not to be a bother from here on out. I will bite my tongue and keep very silent! More than you know Danny I truly appreciate your time and look forward to seeing any of your USA Highway bus mods come into the game.
