Hello guys!
Id like to ask, if someone can, please, add railway station jingles! I wanna my TpF2 citizens to pay attention

4 different jingles (4 different mods) in attached file:
Bulgarian BDŽ
Romanian CFR
Hungarian MÁV
Czecho-Slovak station jingle

you can consider that I'm working on it.

1) do you want to provide the description text in these languages?
2) do you want to provide a specific image to be used to illustrate the mod or have requirements about that?
3) once it's done, you want to publish it yourself, keep it private or should I publish it?

Hi Honzeeczech,

so, I've mixed the sounds you sent with ambient sounds and it's heard in-game so we can say that it works.

However, the default stations (I mean not from a mod), share the same sounds set from both the passenger and the cargo type.

So, I've got two questions :
1) does it matter to you? (that the cargo station will also use the jingle sound)
2) are you using modded stations?

I dont mind jingles at cargo station and yes, I do use modded passanger stations

I can adapt the jingle to these stations too, even for your only own usage.

Which stations are you using?

I mix default stations with steam addons:

Train station pack (majuen)
NL modular station (opiescc)
Underground station (enzojz)

Ok, I'll look into modding these too.

As for now, here is the first of the four vanilla mod, if you want to test it.
They will be on Steam in about a couple hours.
What takes time the most is to edit the audio and images. And of course, to drink (Irish) coffee while at it.

The jingle is played when you do select a rail station and is mixed with the random sounds so it is played before the announcements.
If also have modified the station_cargo_old.lua file so it's probably best if you do activate this mod after any other mod that does too.

If talking about station sounds... it's interesting that a week before the topic was raised, I had been re-listening some parodies like "What if Trenitalia annoucements were said in local dialects?"
That's a funny but niche stuff, thus I dunno if anyone would be interested in making this as mod (and if it will make a good effect with a full announcement). If yes, here they are:

For non-Italian speaking people, generally there are the things like "The train arriving from Sulmona hitted a mountain, thus its course is impossible. Passengers are invited to come another day." =)
Also, if someone is gonna put this into a mod, I surely can prepare the logo.

I'm busy as hell but Honzeeczech's request sparkled my interest and I'm having fun doing such mod. I will do the Portuguese one quite soon, a Belgian right next to, and for sure a dialects mod sounds great too.

Funny enough, just today I heard an onboard announcement in 7 languages, including Esperanto!

If you can add me on Steam, it will be my pleasure to add you as co-author by the way.

PS: would there be such as thing as announcements in the Sardinian dialect? It would make my evening to put it in a mod sipping a great Cannonau di Sardegna.

No can do Searched through all the internets - there isn't a sardu version Nor any other regional one (although there were). Only some parody things in standard Italian.

C'mooon, it was just 20-something minutes of simple graphical work. Co-creator for this kind of stuff? I don't even dare. Eventually you can write something like "Thanks to Aiken-Lugonn for the logo." in the description.
So, here it is, feel free to use it, modify it in any way or whatever (you or anyone else who would like to create this mod).
And good luck with your mods ladder! More ambiental things (esp. local ones!) always make the game better
